No Fail Peanut Butter Fudge Recipe
4 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
4 tbsp. white Karo syrup
Pinch of salt
Cook to soft ball stage on 2nd heat. Remove from heat. Add:
1/2 lb. butter (1 stick)
1 pt. peanut butter
1 pt. marshmallow creme
Mix until smooth. Put in greased oblong pan. Cool and cut into squares. This recipe can easily be halved to make a square pan of fudge.
Peanut Butter Fudge Recipe 2
1 (12 oz.) pkg. peanut butter chips (2 cups)
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Line a 8 inch square pan with waxed paper. Place chips and milk in top of double boiler over hot water. Stir occasionally until chips are melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and spread evenly in pan. Cover and chill 2 hours or until firm. Peel off paper and cut into squares. Makes 1 1/2 lbs. fudge.
Place milk and chips in teflon coated pan and heat over low heat until smooth.
